Assetz Capital and Assetz Exchange

Assetz connects those with the financial means to create impact, to businesses and property developers who can make it happen.

For investors and borrowers
Marketplace business lending

Assetz Capital is an originator of property backed loans, solely for institutional investors. For the first 9 years, from 2013, Assetz Capital built what became the largest retail-funded peer-to-peer lender in the UK, with more than 40,000 registered private investors funding the majority of the first £1 billion of our lending. Following bank interest rate rises, our work for retail investors was done and we now fund all of our lending with growing volumes of institutional capital.

We specialise in offering attractive risk adjusted returns with a focus on sustainable delivery through our career-experienced professional lending team. We fund development of housing and care facilities, commercial mortgages and bridge loans and have become one of the leading specialist finance providers in our sector.

Assetz Capital is now well progressed on lending its second £1 billion to small and medium sized businesses, has created more than 7,000 new homes and has supported thousands of jobs.

The financial system is broken.

Businesses are struggling to get access to the important funding they need to grow, there aren’t enough homes in the places that we need them and investors find it difficult to get an attractive, risk adjusted return on their capital.

Our purpose is to provide a solution to those problems, by allowing investors to put their money towards economically compelling projects that deliver social good, whether that’s by funding new eco-friendly homes, providing supported living housing and care facilities, or supporting the growth of the UK’s small businesses with commercial mortgages and bridge finance.

We help fill the SME and care sector funding gap to deliver a better future for businesses, people and investors.
