Our Partners can make the most of our products and services by using our website and the web-marking initiatives proposed by our Web-Marketing Teams.

Using the Assetz® website you and your clients will have access to up to the minute property lists, property search tools, important property investment news and research, as well as the latest best-buy mortgage tables and mortgage quote engines.

You can use the scheme in a number of ways that suit your website or business:

Place banners or text links on your site
Include information pages on UK and overseas property investment and finance on your website with links to our pages for more detailed information and enquiry forms
Include property listings in an IFRAME on your site
Have a custom designed white-label site that allows you to promote our services and products on a site that uses your branding
XML integration to your existing property database and the receipt of sales enquiries from your site via XML

Web-Marketing Frequently Asked Questions

1. What does your web-marketing scheme involve?

A Partner who wishes to promote Assetz products and services on their website will be accredited commission for any sales made (in accordance with our T+C’s) thanks to the traffic that was driven to the Assetz website from his own. You will need to be set up with our web-marketing systems in order for our website to recognise that traffic has come from your website and accredit the due commission to you. You can contact our Web-Marketing Manager if you would like to discuss exactly how this is done.

2. Can anyone join your web-marketing scheme?

Yes, any of our Partners can make use of our web-marketing support and opportunities. Once you have been approved and are a registered Partner we will look at your website and decide how we can help you with your web-marketing.

3. Why should I choose you over other schemes available?

Most schemes similar to our Assetz for Advisers programme will pay on average, a small fixed commission but don't allow you to see the exact amount you'll be receiving or do not allow you to earn more for your continued business or close partnership. We believe our scheme is the most generous in the industry and what’s more we are not afraid to show you an exact breakdown of your potential earnings from day one and pay you as much of this potential earnings up front as possible.

The commission structure is just one element of our offering to Advisers that makes it stand out from similar schemes. The other is the amount of web-marketing support and ideas that we have to propose to you. We will make absolute sure that you are using every web-marketing opportunity available to enhance your income. And what’s more, our Partners log-in portal allows them to monitor the exact activity of their clients and the traffic (number of clients) that they have brought to Assetz from their site.

NB: Signing up doesn’t mean you are committed to becoming a Partner, nor using our web-marketing scheme. If web-marketing is not of interest to your particular business you are not obligated to take up this service.

4. How long has your company been trading?

We have been trading since 1999 and we can now offer property in the UK, France, Spain and Cyprus either for investment purposes or as a holiday home. Note: UK property is not available via this Partner scheme yet.

5. Is there a minimum and maximum amount of time I have to sign up for?

There are no restrictions on the length of time for being a Partner of Assetz. We would like to offer our services to you and your clients for the long term, building up a close partnership over the years which ensures that your income from property and property finance is improved on year upon year. You can of course withdraw from the web-marketing scheme at any point and still remain a Partner of Assetz.

6. How will I know a sale has gone through from my site? And how can I be sure that all of the traffic from my website has been logged by you?

You will receive email notification along with the facility to log into your Partner control panel which will show you the amount earned in real time. Need to add text to reassure them that there is no way that a client could come to our website, from theirs, and it not be allocated to them.

7. I have more than one site. Can I put your ads on all of them?

Yes, you can use your Partner control panel to put banners on as many sites as you please.

8. Will my Partner control panel be secure?

Yes, your login and password will be unique to you. You can change your password at anytime through your control panel.

9. How do I put your banners on my site?

In your Partner control panel click on the Banners/Links link in the navigation on the left. Here you can view all our banners and pick which one you think will best suit your site. Underneath each banner is a text box and the words Code to insert to your page. Just select the code in the text area and copy it to the clipboard, then paste it into your HTML page wherever you think it would look best. In the case of text banners, you can add whatever style markup you like to make the text fit better into the look and feel of your site.

10. Do I have to advertise all of your services and products?

The choice is yours, whatever you are comfortable with. As with the Assetz for Advisers scheme you can choose to promote either all or just some of the services and products offered by Assetz to your webusers.

11. How do I change my payment details?

You can change all of your details, including payment address etc, through the Profile option in your Partner control panel.

12. How long does the referral cookie last?

The referral cookie will last for 7 days and covers all of our sites. What this means is that if you refer someone to one of our sites looking for a 2-bedroom apartment in Nice, for example, but they decide not to go ahead with the purchase, the cookie is still stored on their machine for a week. If they should later find one of our sites through Google and decide to buy a 1-bedroom apartment in Cyprus, then you would get the commission for the Cypriot property. Or even better for both of us, if they bought the apartment in Nice the first time that you referred them to us, and then subsequently found us through Google and bought the apartment in Cyprus as well, you would get the commission on both sales. We currently have 3 sites in the Partner network with a wide range of properties which are updated on a daily basis.

Once a client is registered with us and provided that we did not already have their details on the database we will pay commission on any sale to that client for 365 days from the date of registration.

If the client is already registered with us but you send us an enquiry from them on a different property that they have not already enquired about then this sale would be credited to you but other sales to the same client of different properties that had not come through you would not.

13. How do I create a text link to a different page than the default landing page?

In your Partner control panel there is a link for Custom Dynamic Link. Clicking on this link creates a pop-up which asks for the page you wish to direct users to, the title of the link and any description you wish to enter. After you've entered these details it will give you the HTML code which you need to put into your page. These links are bare of any style markup, so please feel free to add style tags to make the link fit in with the design of your site. You may want to use these links if you want to direct users to specific product pages rather than a site homepage.

14. How do I create a banner link to a different page than the default landing page?

In the Banners/Links section of your control panel, you will see that every banner has a Dynamic Link link in its title bar. Clicking on this creates a pop-up which asks where you want to direct visitors too. Once you enter the destination URL it will give you the HTML code to put into your page. You may want to use these links if you want to direct users to specific product pages rather than a site homepage.

15. Where can I find more help if I can't find my solution here?

16. Can I copy text and images from your sites for use in my site?

You may use our text from our sites as long as you rewrite at least 80% of the content - this is because Google will see this as duplicate content otherwise and not benefit either one of us and possibly cause us both harm. Images may also be used. This licence to use the text information and images in this way is only granted whilst you are an active Partner for us and we or you have not cancelled your Partner agreement with ourselves.

17. What's the Partner RSS feed ?

We can provide you with an RSS feed containing the description of our latest available properties, a link to an image of that property and the link that your visitors should follow to enquire about the property, already encoded with your Partner ID. By using an RSS parser you can integrate these details into your site however you choose. Two examples of such parsers are Magpie RSS and CaRP.

18. What's the Partner JavaScript include ?

We can provide you with a link to a JavaScript file which will output the details and picture of our latest properties. By using CSS styling you can tailor this output to seamlessly integrate into the look-and-feel of your site. All the links output by the script are already encoded with your Partner ID.

Becoming a Partner is Easy

Step 1

First you will need to complete our Enquiry Form if you are interested in becoming an authorised Partner. From here, one of our team will call you to discuss your needs further.

Step 2

We will walk you through each service and give you additional information on the particular properties / mortgage services that your clients could be interested in as well as the full detail on the commission structure available.

Step 3

You will be sent the applicable Assetz Partner Programme Agreement for you to sign and return to us.

Step 4

You will then be provided with your log-in details for our Partners Programme Portal.
Once at this stage you will be able to refer clients to Assetz via this Portal, track your cases, and view the commission payments that you will be receiving. You will not be able to view this Portal until you have signed up and received log-in details.
