  • Customer Care Assistant

    Job Summary:
    We are looking for an extremely professional, presentable, customer-friendly member of staff to join a new, young, vibrant, hard working team. Only like-minded, dedicated, enthusiastic people need apply. A background in property or property finance would be an advantage, even if this is personal experience of owning and mortgaging buy-to-let property rather than necessarily working in the industry. A passion and desire to learn more about property is a must. Experience in a customer services, advice or sales role required. You must be extremely confident and competent both when speaking to clients (either on the phone, by email or face to face) and when working with other teams within the Assetz business. An impeccable telephone manner, an ability to deal with all types of people, and a capacity to build rapport with clients easily are all essential attributes. This role requires strong organisational skills and would suit a thorough, efficient and systematic candidate who believes in never letting their team or clients down. This is a very varied position that is pivotal to the 2010 strategy for the Assetz business. This is an extremely exciting opportunity with excellent career progression potential for the right candidate.

    Skills Required:
    Overview of Role

    • Handling incoming communication from clients (enquiries, requests for information, complaints, feedback…) regarding products or services not covered by other members of the team. This can range from currency exchange and transfer information through to queries regarding the type of investment vehicle to use when buying property.
    • Spotting opportunities for colleagues in other teams to deliver services and product to clients whose inbound communication with Assetz was of a generic nature.
    • Improving the collection and documentation of data regarding our client base so that our sales and marketing teams can understand their clients/target audience better. Whilst improving the collection of client testimonials and “stories”.
    • Improving attendance to Assetz client facing events (open days, seminars, exhibitions, viewing trips…) by calling clients that could be interested to either confirm their attendance or offer the opportunity to them.
    • Managing the delivery of all required services to clients post events; checking with clients that they have received all of the property information they requested, recording information about the client and their interests in our CRM system, ensuring that all potential leads are dealt with by the right member of staff.
    • Ensuring that the data regarding each client of the Asset group is recorded accurately in the CRM system.
    • Improving the feedback of clients’ interests and client feedback to the sourcing, marketing and sales teams.
    • Creating new sales leads by building rapport, delivering impeccable service and maintaining communication with ongoing Assetz clients, clients who have completed on their first Assetz purchase and even new Assetz clients in certain circumstances.
    • Creating finance leads by exploring clients’ needs with them.
    • Handling the booking of Portfolio Planning Consultation meetings – this involves a range of tasks; following up an enquiry for this service, booking the boardroom for the meeting, arranging refreshments, setting up new portfolios in the My Portfolio software, obtaining client testimonials following the meeting, monitoring the client after the meeting to ensure that they have everything they need.
    • Assisting the International Property team with some administration and liaison with clients throughout the buying process.
    • Assisting the Assetz Finance Manager with ad-hoc projects.

    Key Skills/Criteria Required
    • Local candidate with own transport
    • Customer services, advice or sales experience – proven ability to deliver impeccable service to clients
    • Excellent telephone manner and communication skills
    • Fast learner, flexible and able to manage a fast paced environment
    • Professional, presentable, customer-friendly
    • The candidate MUST be able to “open” conversations with clients, and build a rapport with clients very quickly.
    • Organised, thorough, systematic, conscientious
    • Hard working, dedicated, enthusiastic
    • A background/knowledge/understanding in property or property finance would be an advantage.

    Salary:
    £15-16K basic salary (salary increases + bonus scheme will commence after 12 months of employment)

  • UK Property Investment Sales Consultant

    Job Description:

    We are currently looking for an experienced Property Investment Sales Consultant for our UK division based in Stockport, Cheshire. As well as progressing and closing investor sales from enquiries in relation to our sourced UK properties, you will monitor market trends and provide essential feedback to the Sales Manager to assist in planning and execution of sales strategies.

    We have superb UK property investments sourced for clients including developer stock with 50% + discounts and 9%+ yields, resale/ repossession pre-auction distressed property, a live auction website, site student houses and private halls with up to 10%+ yields, off-market £1m+ properties and high yield hotel room investments. We have over 25,000 live registered clients (and rapidly growing and hundreds of enquiries a month as the UK investment market takes off again.

    The successful candidate will be energetic, a proven sales professional with excellent client facing skills who works well as part of a team but is capable of leading by example. They will be a proactive self starter with a sharp business brain and possess an assertive yet persuasive style with proven experience of project-management. Their business ethics will be beyond reproach. Previous experience of working in the property investment/buy-to-let market is a pre-requisite and it would be very useful having a buy-to-let portfolio already in terms of practical experience.

    Skills Required:

    Key skills required :

    • Confident, articulate, self starter
    • Experienced sales background with proven track record in the UK property investment market.
    • High activity rate with excellent lead management skills
    • Excellent and proven consultative sales and closing skills
    • Excellent understanding of the mathematics of property investment (yields, interest cover, LTV etc) .
    • Excellent negotiation skills and understanding of basic legal contracts and sales agreements.
    • Very client and partner aware
    • Good presentation and reporting skills, both verbally & visually.
    • Highly organised, hard working, ability to multi-task in a changing market conditions.
    • Ability to handle accurate sales data and reporting to higher management

    Useful Additional Skills prefered:

    • Ideally have succeeded in a previous team leader role.
    • Sharp business brain and the ability to see the “bigger picture” and assist with strategic direction of the UK investment business
