If you followed a link to us from another website, we will automatically store how you arrived at our site for the first time, including any search query which you may have entered, or advert you may have clicked on. This information is solely used to judge the success of our online marketing.
We keep a history of any enquiries you make about our properties and services, including any purchases you make. We keep a record of any correspondence with you and any actions our staff have taken whilst processing your enquiries.
If you purchase properties or services from us we will hold any information we are legally required to have, such as Anti Money Laundering documentation, signed copies of forms etc.
Any email correspondence with anyone using an @assetz.co.uk email address is securely archived for the purposes of resolving any subsequent complaints or disputes.
If you provide us your contact details by either registering an interest in property investment generally or by enquiring about a specific property or service which we offer, we have a legitimate interest in contacting you about other property investment products or services which we think you might be interested in. You can choose to opt out of receiving such communications at any time by following the "Unsubscribe" link at the bottom of all our marketing emails, or by visiting our unsubscribe page.
The details of calls to or from us are logged, including the phone numbers involved, the start time and duration of the call. We keep this data for 30 days before anonymising it to help us to diagnose any technical problems we might have, after 30 days the phone numbers are anonymised so that they are no longer personally identifiable.
If you have registered your phone number with us along with your email address and any other details, we will also log the fact that a phone call occurred against your client record. This data includes the start time and duration of the call as well as whether we called you or you called us. Should you unsubscribe from our database, or request that your data be deleted, this call data will be linked to an anoymous record so that we cannot identify you.
If your browser security settings allow it, we will store a cookie on your machine which allows us to automatically log you in when you visit our sites. You can destroy the cookie by logging out of your account. If you do not wish to have the cookie set, you can uncheck the "Remember me" box in the login form.
If you followed a link to us from another website, we will also set a cookie to allow us to track which website you came from the first time you visited our sites. This is purely to monitor the success of our online marketing.
Additionally, when using certain sections of our sites, such as the Portfolio Planning System, we may temporarily store certain information necessary to the functionality of the software. This information will be destroyed when you close your web browser.
Unless specifically stated on the page where you provide us with the information, we do not share your information with any other companies or individuals. If the particular service about which you have enquired is offered by us in conjunction with a partner, then we may share the information which you provide with that partner, but that will be stated specifically on the page in question.
We may use the data you provide to us to contact you about products or services we believe that you may be interested in, based on the preferences that you have given us.
If you purchase a property or service through us, we will pass your data to other companies involved in the transaction as you would expect. This can include communicating with the vendor, solicitors ( including any solicitors whom you may appoint ), property valuers etc.
You can amend your data at any time by logging in with the password which we have given you and proceeding to any registration page. If you cannot remember or find your password, there is a "Lost password" link in every login box which will allow you to reset your password.
The data which you provide to us is stored behind a secure firewall. Access to it is only allowed by authorised people from authorised locations.

Unless we need to keep your data for other reasons, we will anonymise any personally identifiable information we hold about you including your name, phone numbers and physical address. Although we will anonymise your email address within our client database, all email correspondence with Assetz is archived for compliance and complaint resolution purposes.
If you have previously purchased a property or service from us, then we will retain your data in case of any future complaints or disputes. If we do not anonymise your data you have the right to complain to the Infomation Commissioners Office.
We take data security very seriously, so both physical and electronic access to your data is strictly restricted to those who need it. Authorised employees of Assetz can access your data, and it may occassionally be necessary for representatives of our service providers to access your data in the process of carrying out their services for us.
